So not too long ago I posted my fashion farewell. But I have decided to continue doing my blog anyway because I actually enjoy it and its amazing that I’ve connected with other people from around the country who share the same passion. Now I”m excited! I can actually put more of MY pictures on here. Woohoo(:

To all my followers here on my blog, I thought I should inform you that I there will not be any more posts from Pretty Passions. For those who didn’t know, I took  this blogging class in school and it is the end of the semester. I really enjoyed sharing my fashion and beauty tips and ideas with everyone and I also enjoyed reading yours. But don’t be sad! I also have a you-tube channel that I just started on beauty and fashion. So instead of blogging, I’ll be vlogging! Makeup and clothes and such will always be a big passion of mine and I don’t plan on letting it go anytime soon. I just have to let go of my blog. Maybe I will continue doing more posts in the future as I strive for college in the cosmetology field. Or even before then to tell you all about my journey  Thank you so much for understanding and even reading my blog! It really means a lot to me. Take care!

With much love,

Whether your throwing your hair up on a lazy day or you’re doing it to match your outfit, her is a way to get the perfect bun. You could use something that is called a hair donut, which you can usually find in most drug stores, but I know a way that everyone can use if you don’t have one. All you need is a sock. (clean of course) Yep, it’s the famous sock bun. I’ll do this step by step and find a tutorial as well from youtube.

Steps:

1.) Get a sock. Ones longer than an ankle sock will work better.

2.) Use scissors to cut of the toe part. Enough for you to get your fingers through.

3.) Roll the sock up from one end to the other by pushing the sock upwards through a hole to make a donut shape.

4.) Put your hair in a ponytail. (where your going to want your bun)

5.) Grab and hold the sock donut as if it were a hair elastic. Start at the end or tip of your ponytail and put the sock around it.

6.) Spread out the end of your hair somewhat evenly throughout the surface of the sock. Pull that hair around the sock and roll it just as you did before.

7.) Continue to do this down the entire ponytail until you get to your haed and it is tight. Secure with bobby pins if needed. Viola!

  • HERBAL ESSENCES LONG TERM REALATIONSHIP SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER ❤
  • HERBAL ESSENCES TOTALLY TWISTED HAIR MOUSSE ❤
  • GARNIER FRUCTIS BODY BOOST SPRAY ❤

The shampoo and conditioner work especially good if you have longer hair. My hair is probably almost a foot long from my roots. Not only do these smell fresh and clean, but they make my hair so silky and smooth. I like really any Herbal essences product however this shampoo and conditioner probably works best in my hair. It definitely helps make it look healthier and bouncy.

The totally twisted hair mousse scent, level two, is to die for. It is my absolute favorite hair product scent and I love it. Its a wild cherry twist with jewel orchard. It makes my hair so soft and enhances natural curls and waves. It also adds body and holds your style in place.

The body boost spray has worked wonders for my hair. I have a lot of healthy hair and it weighs down my roots. That means getting volume can become an issue. The body boost spray works great. You just pick up a piece of your hair and spray it on the root before you blow dry. It doesn’t make it look greasy or crusty. You can’t even tell that product is in your hair. Well, except for the great volume(;

I highly recommend any of these hair products. If you tried them and loved them as much as I did let me know(: Or if they didn’t work for you, Id love to know why and I can recommend some different products.

I purchased all of these hair products from Walmart however you can most likely find them in any drugstore or online. Click below for easy shopping.

There are endless possibilities for hairstyles, but there are some that are particular popular during each season. This fall, there are 5 styles that are super cute and completely easy.

1.) Short bangs. Side swept bangs are much more common than the elegant yet bold all coverage bangs.

2.) Glammed up head bands. Sparkly little head bands can jazz up your outfit in no time. Very cute.

3.) A deep chestnut color or one with dark reds is very in for the fall. Gorgeous in the sun or in the shade!

4.) A thick side braid. Whether its french, standard, or fish tailed. Any kind of side bride with out without braids.

5.) A knotted or messy bun. Cute  and effortless.
